Technical Description of CRM Flat Wire Rolling Mill

1.    Wire rod coils are installed on a vertical two-position pay-off device.

2.    The wire rod passes through the cleaning unit equipped with orbital metal wire brushes.

3.    For semi-finished strips, the horizontal pay-off device is used.

4.    A speed compensator (dancer) is installed in front of the entrance to each stand so that the operation of the pay-off device and that of the rolling stands of the machine are synchronized.

5.    The washing and drying units should ensure the complete removal of residual cooling and lubrication fluid from the strip and thus provide a perfectly clean surface at the exit from the Flat wire cold rolling machine.
